  20. 1-2 tsp corn starch + 2 tbsp water
  21. E. Garnishing
  22. Sesame oil
  23. 1 big red chili – finely chopped
  24. 1 stalk scallion/spring onion – thinly sliced

Instructions to make to make Mopu Tofu

  1. A. – Cube tofu and cook in a simmering water for few minutes. Add some salt. Gently remove from the pot and drain. Keep aside. Place minced meat in a pot with enough water covering the meat. Over medium heat, cook until meat is done. Remove and drain.mopu tofu step 1
  2. Cooking the dish – Sauté B until aromatic. Add minced meat. Stir to combine for a minute. Season with C. Keep stirring, adjust taste accordingly. Cook over medium heat. Add D (thickening sauce). Stir until the sauce thickened. Start with only 1/2 C of water. Add cornstarch mixture. As for cornstarch, start with a teaspoon + 2 tbsp of water. Stir well. Check consistency. Add another half of water and another tsp of cornstarch for preferred consistency.
