- Add marmite, salt and pepper any dried Italian herbs.
- Add chopped tomatoes, cherry tomatoes and mushrooms. Stir well and cook on low heat until tomatoes have disintegrated and liquid has evaporated.
- Turn off heat and cover until serving. This dish is best cooked in advance and reheated when needed.
- Serve with fresh pasta of choice or jacket potatoes, with plenty of fresh grated parmesan cheese and garlic bread.
