- 1 packet minced meat
- 1 packet meatballs

- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic (minced)
- 2 yellow Onion (finely minced)

- 4 tbsp tomato paste (I used more)
- 4 tbsp tomato Sauce/tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp chilli sauce
- 1 tsp ground pepper
- 1 tsp chicken granules/chicken seasoning powder
- 1 C water/broth/stock
- to taste Salt
- Grated parmesan (optional)
Instructions to make to make Spaghetti meatballs in bolognese sauce
- Step A – Prepare spaghetti according to packet instruction. Cook minced meat in boiling water, drained and put aside (half cooked). This is to get rid of any impurities in meat. Then, using nonstick skillet over medium heat, partially cook the meatball. Keep aside.
- Step B – heat oil. Add garlic and big yellow onion, sauté till translucent. Then add chopped tomatoes. Stir well for 2mins. Then add minced meat. Stir and cook until tomato soften.
- Add tomato paste, tomato sauce/ketchup, chilli sauce, pepper, chicken granules and water. Add salt to taste. Add extra water if thin sauce is preferred. Stir and mix well. Add meatballs. Cover and stir every now and then. Let this sauce simmer over low heat until all ingredients are well combined and sauce thickened nicely. Done. Add/top with grated parmesan cheese just before serving.
