  15. 2-3 Tbsp Water
  16. 1/2 kg Beef boneless meat
  17. 1 litre Water
  18. 🌻Lentils mixture:
  19. 1/2 cup Wheat soaked overnight
  20. 1/2 cup Barley soaked overnight
  21. 1/2 cup Split bengal gram soaked overnight
  22. 1/4 cup Split orange lentil soaked overnight
  23. 1/4 cup White lentil soaked overnight
  24. 1/4 cup Split yellow lentil soaked overnight
  25. 2 litre Water
  26. 2 large Bay leaves
  27. 2 tsp Turmeric powder
  28. 1 Tbsp Salt or to taste
  29. 1 litre Water or as required
  30. 1/2 tsp Mace powder
  31. 1/2 tsp Nutmeg powder
  32. 1 tsp Cumin powder
  33. Ginger julienne
  34. 1-2 Green chilies chopped
  35. Mint leaves handful
  36. 🌻For Tempering:
  37. Oil
  38. 1/4 Cup Onion slices large

Steps to make to make Beefhaleem/ daleem

  1. 🌻For Beef stock
    In pot,add bones,water and mix,bring it to boil,cover & cook on low flame for 40-45 minutes.
    Strain stock,discard bones & set aside.
  2. 🌻For Qorma:
    In pot,add oil,oinion and fry until brown.
    Add ginger garlic paste and mix well,add red chili powder,turmeric powder,salt,bay leaves,cinnamon stick,cloves,black pepper corns and mix well.
    Add water and mix,add beef boneless meat and mix well for 2-3 minutes.
    Add water,mix well and bring it to boil,cover and cook until meat is tender(approx. 1 hour).
    Remove bay leaves and mash/shred meat and set aside.
  3. 🌻For Lentils mixture:
    In pot,add wheat,barley,split bengal gram,split orange lentil,white lentil,split yellow lentil,water,bay leaves,turmeric powder,salt and mix well,bring it to boil,cover and cook on low flame until lentils are tender (approx. 1 hour).
    Remove bay leaves and blend the whole mixture with hand blender.
  4. Add prepared beef stock and mix well.
    Add shredded meat and mix well.
    Add water and mix well.
    Add mace powder,nutmeg powder,cumin powder and mix well if you noticed Haleem is too thick so you can add more boiled water and cook for 1 hour in low flame.
  5. 🌻For Tempering:
    In frying pan,add oil and onion,fry until golden brown.
    Add fried onion in daleem sprinkle some coriander and serve with fried onion, ginger,green chilli, cilantro, chaat masala lemon and crusty bread or naan.
